Live baskets
When there is one, this section lists each basket with what it holds, what one coin claims against it, and the fees waiting for the next draw. All of it read from the chain, none of it from a database of ours.
What a unit value is
The weighted sum of the live prices of the constituents, for one unit of the basket. It says what the mix is worth today, not what any basket holds: nothing has been bought, because no coin has traded. The dollar is counted at its peg rather than a market quote.
Rules a basket follows
- It is fixed at launch. A basket that can be edited later is a wallet with extra steps.
- It holds the equity tokens themselves, at the basket's own address, so anyone can check the balance.
- Claims come out of it pro rata on the coin supply, in kind, with no queue.
- Nothing is rebalanced automatically, because a rebalance is a trade nobody asked for.
